In 2004, Unilever signed up to the Nisa-Salesout reporting system, and are probably the best example of how diverse the usage and business benefits can be. All three operating companies of Unilever use the maximum functionality the site has to offer, and have 44 users actively accessing the data. The system reports a vast amount, from volume down to SKU level, for groups and individual members, through to evaluating the effectiveness of promotions. One of the major benefits for Unilever has been identifying members who are not stocking their core range products, enabling them to plug the distribution gaps to drive more volume through Nisa.
